The Challenge

The old website utilized Flash and could not be found easily by the search engines, and there was no easy way for the client to make changes to website.

The challenge was to create a dynamic, interactive website which would offer an easy-to-use content management system, and utilize a SEO-friendly architecture in order to improve search engine rankings. 

Client Background

While Jonap & Associates, PC's old website had a lot of information about the law firm, most of the page text was embedded in Flash, and was not visible to search engines which found the website.

The client also wanted a simple, effective CMS tool so they could easily update the website as needed, and provide an effective tool for adding meta data to the website.

The Solution

Design-First created the JonapAndAssociates.com website, using Interspire's Website Publisher content management system.

• Website offers clear, primary and secondary navigation.

• Website visitors can search the entire website using keywords.

• Client can add new pages, update content and un-publish articles as needed.

• Google Analytics is used to track website visitor usage and tracking code is used to track visitor conversion.

• Website has built-in SEO to help organic search engine optimization.

• An automatic sitemap.xml application was implemented to provide search engines with all the pages in the website.

The Results

The new website is very successful:

• The website is now fully searchable by search engines.

• The website now has great natural organic search engine rankings.

• With minimal training, the client is now able to make updates to the website.

• The website was relisted with major search engines to improve rankings.
