E-Commerce Made Easy—and Affordable

Design-First now has three clients utiliizing the SunShop e-commerce solution, making it easy for clients to manage large, online catalogs without having to worry about any coding.

"A few years ago it was an incredibly expensive process to set up an e-commerce website," said Vann Baker, president of Design-First. "Robust solutions were few and far between and out of reach for mid-sized companies. While shopping cart scripts have been around for some time, it used to take a lot of custom programming, a lot of time and effort to fully integrate a shopping cart into a large e-commerce website."

Design-First has partnered with Turnkey Web Tools, Inc, the makers of SunShop, a complete e-commerce shopping cart solution.

One of Design-First's clients, Construction Equipment Warehouse, offers several hundred construction-related products online, with more being added every day. "Construction Equipment Warehouse is very pleased with both the cost to implement SunShop and the service we have provided in making their e-commerce website a reality," said Vann Baker.

Some of SunShop's administration tools include exporting sales information directly to QuickBooks, the ability to e-mail e-commerce customers a newsletter with discount coupons and relative ease of adding new products to the site internally.
